Introduction to Floristry - One Day Course
Ideal for those who are interested in finding out more about floristry techniques and those wishing to immerse themselves in a joyful day surrounded by seasonal flowers and flower arranging.
We will start the day by creating a beautiful hand-tied bouquet exploring a variety of simple and easy techniques. With an abundance of beautiful seasonal florals to choose from, you will learn how to condition your flowers and then master the art of spiralling to create your very own exquisite bouquet. We will also teach you how to professionally wrap your blooms for that extra touch.
We will then move onto making an asymmetrical urn/bowl arrangement, giving you all the skills to artfully produce a dramatic floral arrangement through creating interesting shape and form.
Finally, we will come together in groups to design and create a large-scale installation piece.
The bouquet and arrangement are yours to keep and there is plenty of opportunity to take photos of all your work using professional backdrops and props.

USEFUL INFORMATION
We teach in small groups with a maximum of 5 people, ensuring quality of learning and experience.
Car parking is available on site - however please let us know in advance if you require parking. Car parking is in a shared space, so places cannot be guaranteed.
The nearest Tube is Tooting Broadway on the Northern Line and nearest railway station is Earlsfield. You can walk from both (approx 15/20 minutes) or there are plenty of buses up and down Garratt Lane.
Our studio is on the ground floor and is accessible.
Snacks, tea and coffee are provided. Please bring your own lunch. Alternatively, there are plenty of local cafes and restaurants. There is a fully equipped kitchen at the studio.
